Energy Efficiency: Training course with ENSI Norway and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Based on actual needs and previous contacts with cooperation of RENEUER, MACEF initiated these projects to Norwegian government, which are realized from the Norwegian company ENSI (Energy Savings International). At October 3 rd 2005, realization of two parallel training courses started:

• Energy building audit - training course for trainers, on which participated 12 participants from faculty of Mechanical engineering, Architectural and civil faculty, members of MACEF and representative of ministry of local self-government. The participants get professional software for energy audit of buildings with measures which can be taken in the area of Energy Efficiency, adapted to Macedonian conditions. The software is adapted to EU standards and can be used for needs of the course for Energy Efficiency (faculty of mechanical engineering, architectural and civil faculty – MSc studies), and also for organizing training courses for anybody interested. The course is held in three cycles, it lasts for six months, and concrete projects for existent buildings are made, and after the last exam participants get certificates. The faculty of mechanical engineering and MACEF equipped a laboratory (personal computers, internet and network connection).

Members of MACEF were hired as co-operators in the American company NEXANT during the development of “Energy efficiency strategy of Macedonia with action plan”, specialised for the parts public lightning, heating and cogeneration, public buildings and using of waste energy;

In 2003 trainers from MACEF took place in the training course organised in Ohrid by PRO-ACTIVA, the session was called “Energy efficiency and implemented measures in Macedonia;

In October and November 2003, MACEF organized 4 training courses in Skopje , Mavrovo, Kavadarci and Kocani - "Energy Efficiency and municipality costs".

In Struga, October 2002, MACEF organized RENEUER workshop named "Efficient management with energy and drinking water - collaboration with NGOs" and published proceedings from that workshop.
