МАЦЕФ - Промовира енергетска ефикасност кон почиста животна средина


	The mission of Macedonian Centre for energy efficiency (MACEF) is to engage energy efficiency on national level through cooperation with governmental institutions, engineers, donors and environmentalists. The Macedonian Centre for Energy Efficiency is a voluntary scientific expert affiliation, registered in December 2002. MACEF is working on promotion and implementation of energy efficiency measures, conservation of environment and counseling for efficient use and consumption of drinking water. MACEF is involved in the process of creating the energetic policy, planning and development in the energetic sector, efficient use of energy resources and promotion of scientific approach in the domain. In the direction of accomplishing its mission, MACEF develops and implements action plans for energy efficiency within the Macedonian Municipalities and local governments.

MACEF is an organization which offers intellectual and other expert services, in the next specialized fields: Renovation of heating and ventilation systems of schools and public buildings through the application of modern energy efficiency methods; Co-generation, simultaneous production of heat and electrical energy; Environmental projects and expert opinion; Climatization, heating, cooling and electrical lighting; Usage of renewable energy resources; Power transmission, low and high voltage electricity transformers; Recycling and usage of city waste as an energy source. MACEF is a member of the international network for energy efficiency RENEUER (Regional Network for Efficient Use of Energy and Water Resources), which comprises the countries from the South-east region: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Moldova, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro and Croatia. MACEF was established with support by the Alliance to Save Energy; established by the USA Senate and partly financed by the USAID; and is a member of the Consultant Organizations Association, offering professional intellectual services, in and out of the country. MACEF is a part of managenergy network, established by the European commission DG Energy and Transport www.managenergy.net. These memberships are providing transfer of knowledge, experience exchange and mutual cooperation between members of similar organizations in wider range.
